Thirteen new pages finally closing out all this troll business! It’s been a long night.
Alright, I’m pretty sure IRO is going on hiatus for the summer; I want to finish up the first Adult High School book! It’ll do me good to step away from IRO for a bit, between these last few huge weird chapters and the books campaign I’ve been steeped in it for like eight months. Tome Four itself is not complete but it’s getting pretty dang close… stoked about that but I want to come at it fresh when I wrap it up.
Due to an error at the printing plant, the shipment of the books will be delayed. At the moment it looks like fulfillment will begin at best end of April, at worst end of May.
When I got my copies I noticed a weird printing error on the spine of Tome 3, which was unfortunately reproduced through all the Tome 3’s. Obviously we don’t want to send you anything but the best possible book, so the printer is going to re-do those books.
Pretty frustrating. I apologize for the delay and thank you for your patience. Wish I had a more concrete timeline to update you with but that’s as definite as the printer could be at the moment. I’ll update you when we’ve got precise dates, and when the full orders are shipping out from Zoop for real.
The books are otherwise perfect. I’ve got a pic below if you’d like a sneak peek (my phone is old & the camera washes out the colours a bit, they are beautiful and rich in real life!). By way of thanks for your ongoing patience I drew this pinup of Cinder & Maeryll in Adult High School style bullying my readers for some reason. Not very nice of them.

My tentative plan for this year is to do a couple more IRO chapters until a natural resting point in the story that’s coming up (not quite the end of the Tome), then focus entirely on AHS until that comic’s first book is done. Both my projects are kinda neck and neck for how close to the end of a book they are, but AHS is much faster for me to draw, and I’m excited to see it in print for the first time. Besides, something about that comic is giving me something I need at the moment, in the midst of all this.
So, I’d like to do a big AHS push this summer and maybe even a print campaign towards the end of the year… We’ll see how that shakes out. Keep you posted as usual.
I feel like a massive narrative weight has been lifted from my shoulders with this one. A certain sequence I’ve been calling the ‘Cinder Transfer’ has been getting turned over in my head for way way way too long. I’m glad it’s finally out. 31 pages, damn! Please enjoy, and thanks for reading.
Alright I’m going on vacation now, feel like I worked straight through 2025 and I’m exhausted, I gotta relax! Gonna be in Japan for a bit, take pics and work on my scripts. Next update will prrrrobably be in early March, but I can’t say for sure. IRO is right on the edge of a big arc wrap-up and I like to drop those all at once. Maybe I’ll finish a few AHS pages before then. We’ll see! Keep you posted.
